GoTeePee – Health & Hygiene Hire Policy
1. General Safety & Hygiene Standards
GoTeePee is committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer safety in all hires. We follow current UK government and industry best practices to ensure safe use of our equipment and responsible business operations.
2. Booking & Payments
- All payments must be made electronically to ensure a secure and efficient process.
- Customers must provide accurate setup details and confirm their event requirements in advance.
3. Equipment Use & Hygiene Measures
- Equipment will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before each hire.
- Customers must ensure the setup area is clean and accessible before installation.
- Blankets, sheets, and mattress protectors provided for hire will be washed at a high temperature and securely packaged before delivery. Customers must supply their own duvets, sleeping bags, and pillows.
- All hired bedding and soft furnishings must be placed in a bag by the customer for collection. Trays and tables must be wiped down with the antibacterial cleaning kit provided.
4. Health Precautions
- Customers must notify GoTeePee if any members of the household have tested positive for any contagious illness or are showing symptoms in the run-up to hire.
- If our team experiences illness, we will notify the hirer and reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the hire for safety reasons.
5. Responsible Equipment Use
- Customers must follow all provided instructions to ensure safe use of hired equipment.
- Hire items should remain within the agreed area and must not be moved between rooms or locations unless specified.
- Any misuse of equipment or failure to follow safety measures may result in immediate collection without a refund.
6. Cancellation & Adjustments
- In case of unforeseen circumstances, cancellations or rescheduling options will be discussed with the customer.
- GoTeePee reserves the right to adjust policies in line with evolving health and safety guidance.
This policy complements our standard risk assessment and terms of hire, which must be agreed upon before proceeding with the hire.
