GoTeepee – Terms & Conditions of Hire  

 

1. Agreement Overview  

By booking with GoTeepee, you ("the hirer") agree to the following terms. GoTeepee ("we" or "us") provides temporary hire of event equipment and sets conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. These terms apply to all bookings and can only be modified in writing by GoTeepee.  

 

2. Booking & Payment  

- A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your event date.  

- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before your event. If payment is not received, GoTeepee reserves the right to cancel the booking without liability.  

 

3. Delivery & Setup  

- We will deliver and set up equipment at the agreed location and time.  

- The hirer must ensure the setup area is clear, accessible, and adequately sized before our arrival.  

- If the location is unsuitable due to incorrect measurements or obstructions, no refund will be given.  

 

4. Equipment Use & Responsibilities  

- The hirer is fully responsible for the safe and appropriate use of the equipment during the hire period.  

- A responsible adult must supervise children at all times to prevent accidents or damage.  

- The following activities are strictly prohibited:  

  - Climbing or rough handling of any hired equipment  

  - Use of slime, nail polish, face paints, chewing gum, or messy foods/drinks near the setup  

  - Smoking, pets, or open flames in or around the equipment  

 

5. Condition Upon Return  

- All equipment must be returned clean, intact, and in good condition.  

- Any excessive soiling or damage will result in additional charges for cleaning, repair, or replacement.  

- The hirer may also be charged for loss of earnings if damaged equipment becomes temporarily unavailable for hire.  

 

6. Food & Allergies Disclaimer  

- GoTeepee does not provide food or drinks but may collaborate with third-party suppliers.  

- The hirer is responsible for checking allergens and obtaining parental consent for any edible items served at the event.  

- Go Teepee accepts no liability for adverse reactions resulting from food or products supplied by third parties.  

 

7. Photography & Promotional Use  

- We may take photos of the setup for use in marketing and social media promotions.  

- No images of guests, especially children, will be used without prior consent.  

 

8. Liability & Safety  

- GoTeepee is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage caused by misuse of the hired equipment.  

- The hirer must ensure that all instructions and safety guidelines provided are followed.  

 

9. Cancellations & Refunds  

- Deposits are non-refundable, except in cases where GoTeepee cancels due to unforeseen circumstances.  

- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
